Having just heard Bill Moyers interviewing Reverend Jeremiah Wright, I can only say that Reverend Wright is a caring, brilliant man. The sound bites that we are fed distort his words. He certainly is "out there" in terms of some of his rhetoric. Hearing his message, not simply the sound bites, makes clear why he says what he says.
It is sad that Barack Obama must defend both himself and seemingly criticize Reverend Wright to avoid being labeled "UnAmerican" or worse.
